I was born in Durban, grew up in Kimberley and then moved to Cape Town for my matric year.

I am a bit of a gypsy.

I own a business called Granny Goose that manufactures down and feather bedding, as well as high-end linen.

I find what I do for a living satisfying because it is rewarding to see people’s faces when they realise what a comfortable night’s sleep should feel like.

My most special memory of spring is of when I was living in England. I’d walk through the forest near our home and come across bluebells, daffodils and other gorgeous spring flowers that had popped up under the oak trees.

During spring in South Africa, I love the flowers of the west coast.

And my top thing to drink in spring is freshly squeezed orange juice.
