A shared vision resulted in the stunning makeover of this home – and it is a transformation that honours the property’s exceptional position above the sea

Pamela Makin’s latest project, in Sydney’s Palm Beach district, is a virtuoso example of just how much a well-balanced collaboration between interior designer, architect and builder can achieve. Perched on a hill, the house is one of the few in the area with views of both the sea and the picturesque Pittwater inlet behind it. ‘It’s an amazing location,’ says Megan Burns, director of architecture firm CM Studio who worked with Pamela on the redesign.
