Can you describe the project?

This is a room we created for the American interior design show Holiday House when it came to London last year. The premise is that 25 interior designers are each allocated a room – in this case, in a pair of recently developed houses in north-west London – and the money raised from ticket sales is donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. We opted to design a guest bedroom as this space is often overlooked; we wanted to create a jewel-like scheme that is fun and inviting, and would make guests feel really looked after.
