Sometimes all a house needs is some love and care to transform it into a home. This three bedroom apartment designed for a couple and their two daughters in Mumbai reflects just that. The open-plan layout is enveloped by large balconies that make the most of the unfiltered natural light. “We came up with a proposal to create a fluid living space that takes advantage of the abundant sunlight. It also involved recreating spaces, by eliminating unwanted demarcations, thus uniting the kitchen, living and dining environments,” says architect Huzefa Rangwala, one half of multidisciplinary studio, MuseLAB.<
