It’s easy to feel distanced from nature during the winter months, as we huddle inside to avoid the cold. But there are plenty of ways to bring the outside in during the festive season. Take a basket with you on a winter walk and gather pine cones, berries and sprigs of seasonal foliage. Try drying slices of lemon and orange to combine with other fragrant elements such as cinnamon sticks to create simple decorations with a country feel.
