PROJECT To renovate a dated bedroom and turn it into a main bedroom with en suite that complemented its rural location

FEATURE WALL

The wallpaper, featuring a lush pastoral landscape with churches and waterfalls, and based on a 17th-century painted cloth, reflects the beautiful countryside surrounding the house.

Zoffany Verdure wallpaper, £132 a roll, Style Ideas Direct. LuxDeco’s Gild Mill pendant light, £3,080, would work. Try Graham and Green’s Umberto brass chest of drawers, £850. Made’s Julius quilted bedspread in Antique Gold, £109, is similar
