In the song of divine or Bhagavad Gita, warrior Arjuna on the battleground Kurukshetra, becomes the despondent seeker of truth and guidance. He asks of Lord Krishna, to detail the qualities of an ideal person. In response, Lord Krishna lists the qualities of a wise person. The first characteristic mentioned by Lord Krishna in the song of divine is –FEARLESSNESS. And the second trait is: ‘absence of anger’! .

  • Anger destroys health and emotional wellbeing.

From time immemorial, anger has been identified as a destructive force by almost all illumined personages. Philosophers and doctors warn of the ill-effects from anger. While at a basal level, anger can be seen as yet another important emotion that helps guide response behavior in humans for self-protection, it is also known, uncontrolled anger makes a person violent and loses his or her balance of mind. Anger results in loss of emotional wellbeing. Regret behavior may also result due to anger that causes negative consequences. Anger has destroyed health, wealth, mental peace, family life and social well-being.
