Dhvani Bhanushali, the 21-year-old talented singer is the next big sensation in the Indian music industry, thanks to her melodious voice and amazing screen presence. With a professional career that began at the age of 19, singing a carpool mashup of Gulabi Aankhein and Shape of You with Sandesh Motwani, the pop diva has already created several chartbuster tracks for the Bollywood industry.

The singing sensation is known for her songs Leja Re and Vaaste, ishare Tere with Guru Randhawa, ishetaar and Psycho Saiyaan. Her song Dilbar from the movie Satyamev Jayate broke all music records on television, radio and digital platforms with 20 million views in just 24 hours of its release and more than one billion views on YouTube. With her record-breaking talent, the youthful star has collaborated with popular names in the industry and has made multiple chart-topping hits. HAIR interacts with the pop diva about her foray into music and her journey in the industry, and takes also lessons in beauty and grooming.

Q Tell us about your pursuit for music as a professional career. was it easy to foray in the industry?

Singing has always been my hobby. I was a part of the choir group in school, but I never thought that one day I would take it up professionally. It genuinely made me happy whenever I sang and I loved listening to different artistes. There was no single moment which made me feel like I should take it up as a profession. I think it led to being a full time thing after I met an array of people and then opportunities came along. The transition was very organic for me.

Q How would you describe your journey in the industry?
