Glowing with a golden holiday tan and a dazzling smile, single mum Cassandra Thorburn looks and feels the healthiest and happiest she’s ever been.

“This is my second chance to have the life I truly deserve,” shares Cass, whose life was turned upside down just 18 months ago when ex-husband Karl Stefanovic ended their 21-year relationship.

“I’ve really turned a corner – I often look back and am comforted at just how far I’ve come. I’m unstoppable, and I’ve never felt more empowered.”

So it’s little wonder Cass was upset recently when she discovered she’d been secretly photographed without her approval on a family holiday with her two youngest children.

Fairfax Media social commentator Andrew Hornery took to Twitter to voice his disgust after the “unflattering” images were put on the open market in what he saw as an unfair attack on single mum Cass.
