Many of us love a musical, and to give us a taste of the magic they bring, Sheridan Smith hosts a one-off special, Musicals: The Greatest Show, on BBC1 this week.

She’s joined at the London Palladium by a variety of musical theatre singers, including Holby City’s Ramin Karimloo (singing from The Phantom of the Opera), Aisha Jawando (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical), Nicole Raquel Dennis (Dreamgirls) and Michael Ball, who’s performing a special number from Hairspray.
