UNDERCOVER ACTION!

NEW: DRAMA

Bulletproof Friday, Sky One HD, 9 pm

It’s 11am on a Wednesday and TV&Satellite Week is deep in the bowels of a London nightclub, where thumping music is blasting from overhead speakers.

Alas, we haven’t been partying all night – we’re watching filming on Sky One’s action thriller Bulletproof and, through a haze of neon lights and smoke machines, spot the silhouettes of its stars, Ashley Walters and Noel Clarke. They’re shooting one of the calmer scenes of the cop drama that gained a reputation for Fast & Furious-style car stunts when it debuted in 2018.

This second season promises even more action as National Crime Agency detectives DI Aaron Bishop (Clarke) and DI Ronnie Pike (Walters) go undercover to infiltrate a crime family.

The first episode picks up a year on from series one with the pair on a routine stake-out in London, which quickly turns into a highspeed chase and the seizure of £1 million in drugs money.
