There’s good news for fans of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt this week. More than a year after the Netflix comedy came to an end after four seasons, the show returns for an interactive final episode.

Like previous interactive specials such as Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and the Bear Grylls show You vs Wild, it allows viewers to choose the outcome of events and characters’ storylines. Ellie Kemper, who plays Kimmy, says we are in for a treat.

‘I think Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is the first comedy to try it and I’m excited,’ she says. ‘Every five minutes or so, there’s a choice point where the viewers get to decide what they want the characters to do and how the story continues.
