With the Black Lives Matter movement making headlines in America after a spate of racially charged police shootings, the explosive issue is brought to our screens this week – with a twist – in FOX drama Shots Fired.
Starring Oscar-winner Helen Hunt and True Blood’s Stephen Moyer, the 10-part series is set in a North Carolina town and opens with black police officer Joshua Beck (Mack Wilds) shooting dead an unarmed white college student.
