Rebel Wilson gets romantic in a hilarious Netflix comedy

Comedy actress Rebel Wilson has become one of Hollywood’s most in-demand stars since her breakthrough roles in films Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect.

She’s currently busier than ever – working on a script about K-pop with Simon Cowell and also filming a movie version of Cats with Judi Dench and Taylor Swift. But before then, we get to see the 38-year-old actress in new Netflix romcom parody Isn’t It Romantic.

The Australian plays single architect Natalie, who is knocked unconscious and wakes to find herself trapped as the leading lady in a real-life romantic comedy.

‘Natalie hates romantic comedies, which kind of mirrors me in real life,’ explains Wilson. ‘I love stars like Meg Ryan and Julia Roberts, but I used to hate romcoms because they are so unrealistic and feature things that would never happen.’
