As the leading players gather in King’s Landing for the season finale, will Cersei finally agree to join forces to defeat the White Walkers?

The current series of Game of Thrones comes to a typically epic conclusion with a finale that clocks in at one hour 20 minutes.

Just six episodes have passed since we first saw Daenerys crossing the Narrow Sea with her fleet, and the Night King and his White Walkers heading south, and yet there’s one life-or-death problem that still needs resolving.

A PROBLEM CALLED CERSEI

As the finale begins, the biggest sticking point remains Cersei. Pretty much everyone else in Westeros is now convinced that the battle for the Iron Throne is a sideshow compared to the apocalyptic threat posed by the White Walkers.

But facing a majority with a righteous cause only makes Cersei more stubborn. To persuade her otherwise, almost all of the major players descend on King’s Landing for a United Nations style summit.
