With Bill Cosby facing trial this week, a hard-hitting exposé reports on his alleged sex crimes…
In the 1980s, Bill Cosby was the biggest TV star in America. The Cosby Show, in which he played middle-class family man Cliff Huxtable, attracted audiences of 30 million viewers. Meanwhile, Cosby was donating millions of dollars to charity and cultivating a persona as the nation’s favourite dad.
Yet, did a more sinister side lurk behind the comedian’s cosy image? This powerful documentary charts the star’s recent fall from grace, featuring moving interviews with some of the women who claim Cosby drugged and raped them, in allegations that go back to the 1960s.
BEHIND THE SMILE
Former actress Lili Bernard is one woman who has shared details of her harrowing experience at the hands of Cosby, claiming that when she was a teenager he invited her on the set of The Cosby Show and offered to be her mentor.
