This takes me back to dating,” says Obaro Ejimiwe, looking uncertainly at his bowl of unwieldy Vietnamese rice noodles. “Never have noodles or spaghetti on a first date.” It is a Tuesday in August, and we are sitting in the rainy day gloom of Margate’s Old Kent Market, a small arcade in the heart of the Old Town.
