With Broadcast India Show 2018 dates nearing on our calendars, it is time to clear the way to witness next-generation broadcast technology

- Anisha Gakhar

Next-gen Broadcasting

Technology unrolls at a dizzying pace along with sizeably impacts everything it nudges, the world of broadcast and entertainment being no exception. The entire universe of augmentations possible in this industry remains elusive most of the time, except during conventions and trade shows like the annual Broadcast India Show. The Show has spanned for over two and a half decades since 1991, and is back and how, with its 2018 version. Every year, the Broadcast India Show translates into an interactive platform, which showcases the paradigm transits in infotainment technology across the globe, along with serving as a platform to help connect with the innovators and experience the marvels first-hand.

The Broadcast India Show 2018 will cater to futuristic broadcast technologies, which are expected to be more efficient and productive, by catalysing creative ways of working with broadcast, film, audio, radio and everything else that contributes to the infotainment industry – from content creation to its management and delivery. Companies and corporations, veterans and professionals, vendors and and customers, visionaries, and other industry pioneers from across the world will gather to realise opportunities, establish trade connections, and facilitate resource pooling on the biggest scale; as is the norm every year.

The last edition of the Broadcast India Show saw over 9862 unique visitors and over 500 brand participants from over 36 countries. This year, the numbers are only expected to grow, with spectacular innovations up for demonstration.
