Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch shocked us when they stepped out as a couple at the Rugby World Cup final in 2015, but now six years after they wed in central London, they’re calling in the lawyers. Friends aren’t surprised. Hall smoked, Murdoch hated it. She wanted to model again, he was against it. She liked to have fun, but he’s a “workaholic”. She’s 65, and he’s 91. As one friend told Daily Mail, “Basically, Jerry is stuck in Succession when she wants to be in Absolutely Fabulous” – a telling admission considering the Binge series about the Roy family, who own a media and entertainment conglomerate, is said to be based on the Murdochs.

A friend told the same publication, “It was beginning to look like Jerry was finding things to do so she wouldn’t have to spend quite so much time with Murdoch.
