SHAH RUKH KHAN

The Badshah of Bollywood, King Khan, King of Romance, etc etc. Call him any name you wish, he is the only actor with multiple titles attached to his name across the globe, and he does justice to it. Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance on the silver screen every single time, even after two-and-a-half decades, is no less than magic. This man’s journey has been one hell of a roller coaster ride in the film industry. King Khan believes in experimenting and stepping into new boots with every role he plays. Shah Rukh Khan gave an absolutely splendid performance this year in Fan. He played Gaurav Chandana, a Delhi-based, die-hard, obsessive fan of a Bollywood superstar Aryan Khan, also played by him. In fact, he was better as the fan than as the superstar. Shah Rukh Khan has played all his strengths, and he has played them just right, gliding in and out of the star and the fan personas, creating distinct identities and outlines in one scene. While playing Gaurav Chandana, SRK rolled the dice to his win. From his body language and voice modulation, to the Delhi-based accent, he aced the portrayal of his character in the most sublime way. It was a performance which he rendered in the most outstanding manner. The film received diverse responses from the audiences and critics. But when it comes to SRK’s performance, he lives up to the title of being the ‘king’ of the industry.
