George Clooney has received a stark warning from his own family to keep his drinking under control – as they open up about his cousin’s battle with alcohol.

“It is a Clooney curse,” says Suzanne, the widow of George’s cousin Ray. “[Ray] retired from work and started drinking full time, and he just did himself in. There was not much I could do to talk him out of it.

“Rosemary [George’s aunt, a famous singer] had a serious problem with it,” adds Suzanne. “Apparently, she was real good friends with Bobby Kennedy, and she took [his death] hard and started drinking heavily.”
