David and Victoria Beckham have been married for almost 19 years and in that time their very public relationship has survived a storm or two. Hellooo, Rebecca Loos? But when it was alleged last week that Becks, 43, had cheated with his daughter Harper’s 23-year-old school teacher – and got her pregnant, no less! – it looked as if Posh and Becks were over for good.

In fact, UK bookies Paddy Power stopped taking bets on a Beckham split for the first time ever amid growing buzz an announcement was imminent.

The couple quickly denied the lovechild claims via their spokeswoman, saying, “There is no statement due, no divorce and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news. This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time.”

Yet it still left many wondering about the true state of the couple’s marriage, which The Sun says is a “complicated beast”.

“There are power battles, jealousy, a genuine love for their children and, above all else, a desire to keep the [$880 million] Brand Beckham going,” stated the UK newspaper.

But crazy talk of getting another woman pregnant takes the drama to the next level.

Insiders have revealed that behind the scenes Victoria, 44, is “miserable as sin right now”.

The star admitted to calling David – who was in the US – after she caught wind of the rumours, asking, “Are you divorcing me?”
