TAAPSEE PANNU is on cloud nine these days, after the success of Dunki. SUMAN SHARMA asks her about the weather up there

TAAPSEE PANNU. There's something so endearing about her that you forget you're meeting a star, whenever you meet her. She's so clued-in with what's happening around her, would enquire about your family, your health, your colleagues, before slipping into the chat. And she'd give her 100 per cent attention to you during the interview. The phone would be silent. She'd ask her manager to keep her undisturbed and would weigh-in each question, before answering. While she has matured as an actor in front of the camera, she's still as sassy and smart and doesn't hesitate to call a spade a spade. And she knows she can hold her own against anyone. It's not easy to work opposite Shah Rukh Khan, as the superstar's aura blazes like the sun and can blind you if you aren't careful. But she confidently did that in Dunki and got praised for her performance. The actor also turned producer with the road movie, Dhak Dhak, which too got noticed. She's flying high both professionally and personally and her happiness is palpable as we embark on our chatathon.

How did you get Dunki, and what was your reaction when you were offered the film?
