Digital transformation initiatives are those that leverage modern digital technologies to fundamentally transform the way an organization runs its business and operates through different business processes. There is a lot of talk about consulting engagements for an organization to jump start its digital transformation initiatives and harvest the benefits from improvised customer-centric business processes, over cutting-edge digital technologies. However, what is uniquely interesting is to see as to which program will eventually deliver the throughput as organizations invest in these transformation initiatives. In conversation with Dataquest, Arun Nathani, CEO and MD of Cybage, shares how Cybage presents a distinguished platform driven approach to embrace digital transformation tangibly.

Do you believe Digital Disruption is real?

Absolutely! Digital Disruption is for real, and is here to stay. Being an outside-in force driven by market and new customer behavior trends, there is no denying to the fact that we see disruption all around us. Whichever market segment we look at, all have gone through many changes. The advent and rapid acceptance of smartphones and social media has brought big disruptive changes. It is important to note that change was always there, but that the difference we see today is the pace of change. The good news, however, is that the CEOs of technology organizations today see this disruption coming and are looking to add incremental value to their customers, thereby leveraging the power of digital.

What, in your opinion, are the primary facets of Digital Transformation?

There are two important aspects of digital transformation – enhancing customer experience and improving operational efficiency.

Even if Al demand fades, India need not worry - about data centres

For every megawatt (MW) of installed colocation capacity, users here generate approximately 13.2 PB of data monthly- compared to 0.3 PB for Australia and just 0.01 PB for Singapore. India's data centre growth is not dependent on one tech lever. Plus, it is phased and modular and not kneejerk. Manoj Paul explains these contours in detail.
