AS THE TEN O’CLOCK NEWS BEGINS imparting its selection of the world’s goings on, you look around the room and think about clearing up the various toys that have been scattered far and wide during the busy day of a toddler. You could just leave it all out, like some preschool parc fermé, but then a Lego brick would almost certainly greet a bare foot in the morning. Best tidy it up. But… putting your feet up on the sofa for a minute won’t hurt. Just until the weather forecast…

Lined up in front of you is a curious car park. There don’t appear to be any marked bays and all the vehicles seem to be odd sizes. Most could do with a respray and there’s the odd wing mirror missing (unless the owner has a thing about the early Testarossa look), but there is some interesting machinery. A 997 GT3 RS is tempting, as is a John Deere tractor, and the Silver Birch DB5 with curious-looking hubs is almost too much to resist.
