Can you tell us a little bit about how the bike came about, and what motivated Kymco to take on such a project?

We’ve been in the electric two-wheeler market for a very long time, and we saw an opportunity to enter the supersport electric motorcycle market. We see that, today, there are quite a few electric motorcycles on the market. But, honestly, none of them can deliver the kind of sensation and thrill that motorcycle riders seek. So, we saw a great opportunity here. We want to bring out top-end supersport electric motorcycles and establish Kymco as the leading brand in the electric era.

Why do you think electric mobility is the only solution right now, and that no one is looking at other alternative fuels?
