While we'll always have space for Mario and Zelda in our hearts (and in our storage), the Nintendo Switch also offers countless indie games in its online store, which makes it easy to miss out on some real gems. Here are three of our recent favourites.

A WHOLE NEW WORLD / THE TOURYST

In this quirky, blocky action-adventure game, you play an inconspicuous tourist who travels between different exotic islands to complete missions while uncovering mysterious ancient monuments. At first, it looks unassuming and simple but, as you progress, you’ll soon come to realise how impressive this title is, both visually and in its gameplay. You’ll find yourself chatting to locals, scuba diving, surfing, chilling, flying RC copters, solving Zelda-like puzzles and even playing arcade games. Each island is a treat in itself – charming, dreamlike and filled with little secrets, making The Touryst an unusual but accomplished game you won’t easily forget.

F1 taught me that speed starts with comfort

AS A FAN OF MOTORSPORT, I'M ALWAYS fascinated with the finer details that go into Formula One racing. Piloting the fastest racing cars on the planet subjects drivers to savage forces - up to 6 G's under braking which has led to an almost endless pursuit of comfort.
