Skoda intends to bring the Karoq to India next year. Time spent behind the wheel of one left us rather impressed with the “downsized” Kodiaq

Skoda has big plans for the Indian market and much of it revolves around SUVs, at least for the time being. Logical for sure because that’s what the market demands. Their big launch, the compact SUV that will spearhead the Skoda India 2.0 plan, isn’t happening until 2021. But before that, it will launch the Karoq in India by mid-2020. The SUV will sit below the Kodiaq and fill the void created by the Yeti’s departure. During a recent trip to Prague, we got a taste of the Skoda Karoq and while the drive was rather brief, it did give us a fair idea of what the car is all about.
