As of last month, the redi-GO managed to clock under two thousand units in sales. That by the way, is the redi-GO range that includes the 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre models. The Maruti-Suzuki Alto 800 alone registered over 10 times that figure. Datsun’s smallest hatchback’s popularity has evidently been lacking. The problem although lies with factors like brand popularity, quality of components and ownership experience. Of these, quality has been a bigger cause of concern for customers.
