Michael Rose first discovered his artistic ability at the young age of 5 when he won a primary school competition for a painting he created. He started his professional art career in 1994 as a tattoo artist in North London.

Since then, Michael’s work has been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers and books all around the world, and he has won multiple awards in the U.K. and abroad.
In 2010, Michael started to experiment with other art mediums and instantly enjoyed the freedom they gave him to practice in his favourite artistic style, Photorealism. He went on to spend the next 8 years studying, developing his techniques and learning from other Photorealists around his full time job as a tattoo artist.
