The trend of keeping cats as pets is gaining popularity in India. The higher cat adoption efforts, and low spay/neuter rates in Indian pet cats are further fuelling the demand for cats as pets among Indians.

It is important for cat owners to take time for active play with their cats for at least half an hour a day. In 2-6 weeks after birth, the kittens have to be, but gradually, introduced to solid food.
