I don’t remember exactly how I got there, but I remember being so happy that all these people were giving me so much attention. The day I met them, I thought I was going to have such a great life.
Then they put a chain around my neck, and it felt so heavy, but they said that they couldn’t have me mess all over the yard, so I tried to mess in one place so they’d remove my chain. My neck hurt a lot with the chain; I can still feel the burden of the weight to this day.
