As I mentioned in my comment, I don’t get out much now. That’s why it was nice to receive a phone call from my brother a couple of days after I’d finished the October issue, to ask whether I’d like to travel down to Buckinghamshire with him to look at a car project he was thinking of buying – a Ford Model T. Fancying a change of scene, and as it’s the nearest I’m going to get to a holiday this year, I jumped at the chance. Thinking I was just going for a look at a derelict car, I only took a small compact camera, but I wish I’d taken a decent one as I didn’t realise just how interesting the trip would be!
