The cover story explores Different Styles of Dance . It has taken steps in the right direction, with several schools of Western dance opening up in Goa.

These academies are not a tourist attraction, but institutions committed to the serious cause of Western dance in all its forms:
Latin American, rhumba, salsa, foxtrot, ballroom, and even inventive ones like Acro—short for acrobatic with all its rigorous connotations. Students often spend years mastering some of the more complex dance forms, and dedicated teachers are justifiably proud of lessons well learnt by their pupils. 'Timeline Goa' is pleased to present features on the various schools of dance which have made the right moves in terms of the traditional, the innovative and the joyously exuberant in Goa.

The Delphic Games involves sports with a difference. It celebrates and rewards forms of artistic expression, celebrating culture and the arts in its many dimensions. For the first time these Games come to India early next year with Goa playing the host. 'Timeline Goa' provides an eye-opening preview of these unique Games.
