The recently concluded award functions be Noida Apparel Export Cluster is a perfect example of this were many exporters were facilitated in 31 different categories for their power packed contribution in the field of apparel exports. It is good to see that our associations are regularly working on making the exporters feel special and appreciate them for their contribution to country exports as it definitely takes up a lot of determination and consistency to be able to remain on top. The cluster of Noida is creating example of how unity creates a lot of strength to fight away all the odds and cooperate for the benefit of each other. The association is running a lot of seminars, programs and efforts to create awareness among the exporters in the Noida region.
In this issue you will read the success story of all the winning exporters, their current
business, vision for the future and plans for expansion. One of the interesting things that came up during our interaction with one of the export companies is exploring of new manufacturing centers like Goa where the labour is available and is willing to work as well. Nobody actually thought of using such a beautiful and travel destination to carry out manufacturing.
An issue or thought that has been hovering around the mind of industry players every time is that is business really moving out of China, has their production cost really affected the orders, is it really going to benefit India, the questions are many and the answer is same, it is moving out but not so fast that it will affect its positioning in the textile and apparel export sector. We interacted with a lot of industry players on the situation and tried to analyze the situation.
The coming month is full of lot of fairs and exhibitions and we will bring you a lot of inputs from them.
