Peace and Reconciliation Network of the Jesuit Conference of South Asia, along with its Nodal Agency, Loyola Institute of Peace and International Relations (LIPI), Kochi, has launched the first issue of the online Magazine: PAX LUMINA: A Quest for Peace and Reconciliation.

This is brought out with a view to promoting Peace and Reconciliation worldwide with a South Asian Perspective. In fact, we are highly privileged to have an array of eminent scholars, writers and peace practitioners in our Advisory/Editorial Board.

In dit nummer

This issue of Pax Lumina focuses on corporate ethics. Most of the countries have their own systems and mechanisms to ensure ethical practices in the governance of corporations, besides international conventions. Unfortunately, they prove ineffective due to the unhealthy nexus between unscrupulous politicians, a corrupt bureaucracy and greedy businessmen/industrialists. This leads to the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few, leading to increase in poverty and deterioration of the environment.
