There are a lot of apps that have been designed to empower women when they find themselves in any unsafe situation. One tap on the SOS prompt within the app, and your live location will be sent to your family and friends so that they can track and contact you. However, at times it’s not that easy to think of an app and then launch it to trigger an alarm in the event of any distress. The recently launched app ‘My Circle’ by Bharti Airtel in collaboration with FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), enables you to trigger an alarm using the voice assistant Siri (if you use an iPhone), and Android users would be able to use this (voice command) feature soon via Google Assistant. An ability to raise an alarm and send your live location tracking link with the help of the voice assistant make this app a useful safety tool that everyone must download.
