As always, we’ve had a wander around to chat to some industry notables. Peter Blanshard of the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers gives few tips on coping with the restrictions of the pandemic, Andrew Schram tells us about his four decades with Burson Auto Parts, and Chris Edwards shares some memories of a career with Snap-On Tools, providing hardware and equipment solutions from workshop to workshop for 30 years.
The Motor Traders Association of NSW has shared some big news in this issue, too. A trial of digital vehicle registration will kick off shortly, and it’s likely to be an extremely popular move with both the auto industries and the general public.
Of course, we have a couple of focus features – workshop tools and oils and lubricants – Iain Curry has a good close look at a gorgeous 1926 Model T in street rod trim, and the usual smart solutions, innovative products and Eye On The Industry all get a run.
