A Japanese study found that walking 30 minutes a day five days a week increases the output of secretory IgA in your mouth and nose, which is your body's first line of defense against viruses. Physical activity stimulates the immune system, helping it provide more robust protection.
OR VISIT A FAIR Riding the Ferris wheel or entering a fun house brings back memories and keeps colds at bay. Stanford scientists say that a brief burst of excitement prompts your body to circulate virus-fighting leukocytes in the bloodstream, warding off illness.
