DO YOU REMEMBER...The Radiogram

With an all-in-one radio, record player and speaker system, a radiogram was the music player of choice from the 1930s to the early 1970s. Usually with a wood-veneered surface, in either walnut, teak, sycamore or mahogany, many early models were tall, hefty and upright, with the turntable on top and the radio below.

By the 1960s, they had become long and lean, looking similar to a sideboard, and taking up plenty of room. Some even included a drinks cabinet or space to store vinyl records.
