As a fresh group of castaways battle it out on the beaches of Samoa in a bid to outwit, outplay and outlast each other in the new season of Australian Survivor: Titans V Rebels. As the latest competitors start their game, we take a look at some of the show’s most interesting secrets.

LOCAL PEOPLE TRIAL-RUN TASKS!

The challenges are tough going for the contestants, about the show…but they’re not the first to have a crack at them! A team of locals known as the Dream Team trial the challenges to make sure they’re safe for the contestants, and also achievable. Host Jonathan LaPaglia has even been known to give the rewards and immunity challenges a go ahead of filming, saying that he likes to be across the challenges so he knows the best way to heckle the contestants while they’re having a go!
