What does the story of Rent mean to you?

Rent made an incredible impact in musical history, it changed how musicals were written with the stories it shone a light on, the diversity it put on stage and topics that didn't really get discussed in that setting. Those same stories continue to be relevant no matter when or where it's performed because it's so based in humanity. It's so incredibly unapologetic and absolutely filled with truth and honesty, which as an actor is such a gift to get to work with. And I mean, that score! You can't beat a good rock musical.
