BRAINS V BRAWN II SURVIVOR 'IT'S HARD TO PICK A FAVOURITE SEASON!

Host Jonathan LaPaglia reflects on nearly 10 years of hosting the hit series

With the premiere of Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn II on the horizon, host Jonathan LaPaglia is still surprised at how popular the series is with audiences nine years after he first helmed the survival show in 2016.

"When the show was first presented to me, I didn't have any doubts that it would be successful, but in order to do that, it needed to be as good or better than the US version," the 55-year-old shares with Woman's Day.

"I think our production team has done a really good job over the last decade of making it equivalent to the US version, despite only having a quarter of the budget."

NEW FAVOURITE

In this years' competition, 12 of Australia's strongest competitors will face 12 of the country's most brilliant minds as they attempt to outwit, outplay and outlast each other over 47 days on the Samoan island of Upolu.

While Jonathan's excited for everyone to meet the newest competitors battling it out for the title of Sole Survivor, he is extra excited for Survivor: Australia V World, which will premiere later this year.

"I like all the different formats, but if I had to narrow down a favourite, it would have to be either All Stars or Heroes V Villains," he says.
