5-INGREDIENT CHRISTMAS!

Spend less time in the grocery store as these treats only need a handful of ingredients

ROASTED SPROUTS, CANDIED WALNUTS & BACON

SERVES 6 PREP 10 MINS COOK 35 MINS

1 Preheat oven to 220°C.

2 Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Blanch sprouts 5 mins or until vibrant green. Drain, then transfer to a tray.

3 In a small frying pan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add bacon and cook 10 mins, stirring, or until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon, reserving pan oil. Drizzle pan oil over sprouts and toss to combine. Bake 25 mins or until crispy.

4 Meanwhile, place walnuts on a separate tray lined with baking paper. Drizzle with maple syrup and stir to coat. Bake 10 mins, stirring halfway, until golden. Allow to cool on the tray. Coarsely chop.

5 Toss bacon and parsley through roasted sprouts and serve topped with candied walnuts.

GINGER BEER & ORANGE-GLAZED HAM

SERVES 10-12 PREP 10 MINS COOK 1 HOUR 45 MINS

1 Combine marmalade, ginger beer, sugar and half the thyme in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 mins or until reduced slightly and thickened. Turn off heat and set aside to cool.
