At 2am on 29 October, the UK moves to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), so remember to set your watch and clocks back an hour when you go to bed.

Losing an hour of daylight is unavoidable as winter arrives and, for most of us, the nights drawing in doesn't exactly fill us with joy. In fact, 76%* of Brits would like to see the clock change scrapped - with seasonal depression, poorer health and being stuck indoors common reasons why. But it isn't all doom and gloom - and there are ways to embrace the time switch. Here's what you can expect.
