It's cosy and comforting

As humans, there’s nothing more natural than wanting to feel comforted and loved. and for me, that’s exactly why I sleep with a cuddly toy every night. It might sound strange to some, especially considering my age, but I'm not ashamed to say that falling asleep with Martha the moose on my chest feels cosy and comforting.

Martha belonged to my beloved dog Bramble, and when we lost her almost 10 years ago, I was bereft. I hadn't slept with a cuddly toy since I was a child, but from the very first night without Bramble, I knew I needed Martha. She'd been Bramble’s favourite toy and thankfully was in decent condition.
