Has your get-up-and-go gone? After shopping, wrapping, cooking and cleaning (and panicking!), you're probably starting to flag and in need of a pick-me-up. Try these fixes to stop tiredness in its tracks.
1 Wake up your body
Before showering, dry-brush your skin with a body brush to improve your circulation. 'Work in small, circular movements upwards from your feet, using enough pressure so that it tingles,' says holistic living expert Janey Lee Grace.
2 Sit up straight
Love a binge-watching session? Slouching is a fast-track to sleepiness. 'Correct your posture to help get more oxygen into your body,' says physio Sammy Margo. 'Sit tall, with your stomach muscles pulled in and ribcage lifted. Breathe down into your ribcage.' Do this for five minutes every two hours.
3 Head outdoors
You may feel low when the celebrations stop. Take a daily walk to get as much daylight as you can. Exercise releases endorphins, which have a positive effect on mood.
4 Beat the bloat
Too bloated to sleep? 'Legs-up-the-wall* is the perfect night-time pose to give a sense of balance,' says yoga teacher Emma Powell. 'Lie down with your bottom close to the skirting board, legs up the wall. Elevate your pelvis on a folded blanket, rest your hands comfortably and close your eyes for 5-10 minutes.'
