A year after her Mother's Day photograph caused a massive furore, Catherine, Princess of Wales, marked the occasion this year by sharing a video that avoids controversy by not showing her or her children.

The brief clip celebrating Mother Nature includes a quick glimpse of Kate touching a tree, but it doesn't reveal her face. Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, are noticeably absent.
This is a departure from Kate's usual posts for the occasion, which have featured her and the kids. Last year's image caused a stir when photo agencies realised it had been digitally manipulated and withdrew it.
