It occurred to me this morning I hadn’t had an ice cream in a cone all summer. I can’t think of another year when this might have happened. I used to buy coned ice creams often. Even on my OE in London I bought cornets – a pale imitation of the coned ice creams we got back home. So what’s changed? The weather’s been hot enough. Have you had a coned ice cream lately?
