The aesthetics match the sound quality

This is the third generation of successful, premium Bluetooth speaker series from Marshall. With the Stanmore III, we see visible improvement in sound over the previous version.

Getting straight down to the basics, the power on/off switch with the distinct click sound gives just the perfect assured start to enjoying one’s music. An added benefit, in case the speaker is kept at a height such that the controls are not visible, is that the switch can be left on and only the switch at the electrical plug point can be used to turn on/off the speaker. This way the synced device automatically connects to the speaker followed by the signature sound, which tells user that the speaker is now ready to start playing a track. Red lighted indicators as one dials up/down the sound controls gives a visual sense of precision and certainty when adjusting instead of relying on one’s auditory judgement.

Hardware quality, finish of the material, tactile feel while operating the dials and the classic look give a sense of surety and luxury. The weight of the speaker and the shoes it rests on makes it stable on any flat surface. It does need access to a plug point to keep it running but the freeing up of battery space within the unit is absolutely worth it given the sound quality it generates. The plug with thin pins requires a proper power source, else, an adapter can be useful to ensure a snug fit.
